Miguel Angel Salcedo
Miguel Angel Salcedo studied Architecture in the UNAM, the biggest and most important university in Latin America, but this didn’t impress him, he decided that the virtual world would have more space to build, so after his career he took a drastic turn towards the web.
The last 6 years he’s been dedicated to web design and multimedia development, working both as a freelance and within a team, taking care of all the tasks that surround this trade: account management, production, design, development, Data Base architecture, programming and server mounting. His knowledge in Arts History, color theory, and organizing structures has helped him adapt to this new field, where just like architecture, you don’t want your projects to collapse.
A few years ago he was invited to launch Surimi Media (www.surimimedia.com), something he did very successfully, attracting clients like the Creative Circle and Axe, boosting their registered users to more than 50,000 altogether in less than three months. His creativity and his ability to find a solution for everything has won him the respect of all his colleagues.
After three very productive years with Surimi Media he decided to spend more time with his family and take advantage of the commodities that the new communications offer, so he moved his hardware home, where he still works for his old comrades.
Miguel Angel Salcedo estudió arquitectura en la UNAM, la universidad más grande y más importante de Latinoamérica, pero esto no lo impresionó y decidió que el mundo virtual tenia mas espacio para construir, asi que después de su carrera decidió dar un giro drástico hacia la web.
Los últimos 6 años ha estado dedicado al diseño y desarrollo de webs y proyectos multimedia, trabajando como freelance y en grupo, encargándose de las tareas que rodean a este oficio: manejo de cuentas, producción, diseño, desarrollo, arquitectura de Bases de Datos, programación y montaje de servidores. Sus conocimientos de historia del arte, teoria del color y organización de estructuras le han ayudado a adaptarse a este nuevo campo, en el que al igual que en la arquitectura, no quieres que se caigan tus proyectos.
Hace algunos años fue invitado a lanzar Surimi Media (www.surimimedia.com), algo que hizo con mucho éxito, atrayendo clientes como el Circulo Creativo y Axe, elevando sus usuarios registrados a mas de 50,000 en conjunto en menos de tres meses. Su creatividad y su habilidad para encontrar una solución para todo le han granjeado el respeto de sus colegas.
Después de tres años muy productivos con Surimi Media decididó pasar más tiempo con la familia y aprovechar las ventajas de las nuevas comunicaciones, asi que mudó su hardware a su hogar, donde aún trabaja para sus antiguos camaradas.
